CREAM PUFFS
Ingredients:
Water…………………………………..1 cup
Butter……………………………………1 cup
Flour……………………………………..1 cup
Egg……………………………………….4 No.
Salt……………………………………..1/4 tsp.
Water…………………………………..1 cup
Butter……………………………………1 cup
Flour……………………………………..1 cup
Egg……………………………………….4 No.
Salt……………………………………..1/4 tsp.
Method:
Put water, butter and salt in a sauce pan. Heat to boiling.
Add flour all at once.
Stir vigorously until a ball, in the centre of the pan is formed.
Remove from heat, let it cool and add eggs, one at a time, beat vigorously after each addition.
Bake balls of the choux pastry on a well greased pan.
Leave 2” between puffs to allow spreading.
Bake in a very hot oven (425oF) for 20 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350oF and bake for another 20 minutes.
Cool and fill with cream (cream beaten and sugar added in it).
