Kids Favourite

 
Chocolate Cookie Smoothies
Ingredients:
2 dark chocolate sandwich biscuits with vanilla cream
1 tsp. sugar or 1 tbsp. honey
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
5-6 ice cubes, crushed
250 ml. Chilled milk
Method 
Crush biscuits coarsely, with the cream. 
Place in blender, add honey or sugar. 
Add 50 ml. Milk, run mixie to form a smooth paste. 
Add crushed ice, run once again. 
Add icecream, rest of milk, run mixie till mixture is frothy. 
Pour into chilled glasses, serve very chilled. 

Date Smoothies with Marie Biscuit
Ingredients:
5 soft seedless dried dates (or deseed them)
3 marie biscuits, crumbled
2 tbsp. sugar
2 drops almond or pistachio essence
300 ml. chilled whole milk
2 scoops vanilla icecream
1 tsp. soft brown sugar (for topping)
Method 
Soak dates for 20 minutes in 2 tbsp. milk.
When very soft, run them, with soaked milk in mixie.
Add biscuits, sugar, essence, half cup milk, run again.
When smooth, add remaining milk, icecream.
Run till smooth and frothy.
Pour into tall glasses, already chilled.
Sprinkle some brown sugar on top, before serving.
Serve chilled.  

Fruity Frog
Ingredients
  • Green apple (such as a Granny Smith)
  • Cream cheese
  • Chocolate chips
  • Green grapes
Method  
Cut the apple into quarters and remove the core. Cut a thin wedge from one quarter for a mouth. For the eyes, shape cream cheese into two half-inch balls, and set them in place. Insert a chocolate chip, point-side in, into each cream cheese ball. 
Use the grapes, cut in half, for the legs and feet. Slice four halves to create toes. Arrange the pieces as shown and serve on a paper lily pad.
